Welcome to your perfect mountain getaway! This is a classic mountain cabin built in 1938 and remodeled with modern conveniences inside, shaded by tall pines, and with a covered front porch. Queen bedroom with separate entrance, inner bedroom with bunks and sofa bed can sleep 2 adults, 2 children, living room has queen sofa bed, and a hassock that makes into a twin bed. Also, dvd player and monitor, a fully equipped kitchen, and remodeled bathroom (shower). It is important to know that tall people might feel cramped here because the sloped roof in the master bedroom and the bathroom won't work well for those over 6'3". We have basic internet for our guests, but it is only for email and checking on websites, and not for streaming. There is a tv sized monitor and VCR and a collection of family videos. There's a small garden, a fun porch that's great for kids and adults (with a full sized ping pong table and a dart board). Plenty of room outside for kids to run around in and a hammock as well. All remodeled recently and kid friendly (not fussy). Owners live next door, and can advise where to go in the Parks and what nearby activities families will enjoy The cabin is set up for 7 adults plus one or two children on the small sofa bed in the bunk bedroom. No washer & dryer at the cabin but are available next door. We are a "green" business, with solar powered electricity, using environmentally sound cleaning products and of course, recycling. In winter the woodstove keeps it cozy. In summer we have cross breezes and fans, as well as a portable air conditioner to keep it comfortable. SPECIAL COVID-19 MESSAGE Our cabin is simply furnished and we are taking special precautions at this time so it can be your safe home away from home: --We are cleaning the bathroom and kitchen counters with cleaners that remove 99% of viruses --The sheets and towels will of course be freshly laundered. Habitat of numerous wild birds including Steller jays and acorn woodpeckers. A short walk on the creekside trail provides seasonal blackberry picking opportunities, or sit under the sprawling canopy of the mature Valley Oaks and listen to the wind. If there will be more then two adult guests, I CHARGE $25.00 EXTRA per person per night! CHILDREN 13 and older also $25.00 per night! Please be upfront with the number of people staying.! Large Rustic Log Home on working cattle ranch in the mountains with privacy and no neighbors with great mountain views and city lights. It is a great place for family reunions, spending holidays here and special occasions,or just a pecaceful getaway from the fast moving city life! We have 2 ponds to go fishing as well. Only 30 minutes from the entrance to Kings Canyon/Sequoia National Park! Also have boarding for your horses! You can bbq and have a seasonal fire in the firepit w/ wood provided It is located on a large working cattle ranch, a huge real 3500 square foot log home, where there is a gravel road and cattle and horses roaming freely. We live on the ranch at a separate house away from the log house, there is local restaurants/bar within 15 minutes. It is very quiet and secluded, with beautiful mountain views and city lights on a clear night. This house is great for a family thanksgiving dinner or spending Christmas in the mountains and sometimes its a white snowy Christmas,or enjoy a dark spooky Halloween! Guests can go for hike around the ranch, which is about 100 acres or just go for an evening walk and enjoy the scenery and maybe see some deer or wild turkeys, or other mountain wildlife, use the outside bbq, go fishing for bass, catfish, blue gill, but supply your own fishing gear and the fish are catch and release only. I'm available most of the time on the ranch or just a phone call away or text, chances are you will see us around the ranch somewhere There is no feeding of the livestock without owners permission and the gate must be closed at all times due to the livestock ,overnight boarding available for horses if you want to ride in the park and stay at the house, because sometimes the corals are full At big meadows . But no riding on the property! The roads will be dusty and cow manure on them! We allow rvs, campers , and trailers as well but there are no hookups and its an additional fee of $35 a night. The house has 2 window ac units , 1 upstairs and 1 downstairs . There is not individual ac in each of the bedrooms downstairs because the house is built into the mountain and stays cool. The gate to the house will be closed due to the cattle , but not locked , just unlatch it . Also if you need to contact me and your cell service does not work , there is a landline phone in the house to call out on .

The cabin is small but very well stocked. Hidden from the road but close enough so it's easy to access from the Hogback. The cabin has 1 queen bed and a bunk room with 2 small bunks, full kitchen, and1 bathroom, the bathroom has a full-size tub and shower combo. The common room also has a futon that folds out into a full-size bed. Let's not forget the outside, relax on the full-size deck. You will need to pick up your supplies before heading up to the cabin. Please ask for the directions GPS doesn't work very well in this area. The barn is located about 350ft from our house so you may see us out and about , and we do come to the lower area of the barn to get ranch equipment, feed the livestock and tack up horses occasionally. You may also hear noises in the night fro the cows and horses comming in to feed and get water.

Built in 2005, this charming home is located on 15 acres in the Dunlap foothills, amongst a beautiful oak woodland. Skylights in the kitchen and living room give you a bright, cheerful atmosphere. We have 3 nicely stocked convenience stores and 2 gas stations (one with diesel) close by for anything you might have forgotten. Please be aware that this is a NON-Smoking property and due to the high fire danger there are no open flames allowed April 1 to Nov 1. We do accept up to 2 Pets at our property but there is an additional cleaning fee of $50 per stay. If you are planning on bringing pets (which are welcome), please keep them on a leash at all times as we are out in the country - we don't want anyone losing their friends. Enjoy the view from the upstairs deck or downstairs patio. The home has a fully stocked kitchen, washer, dryer, and two bathrooms. There is plenty of space for parking, to spread out, and to make yourself at home. We don't charge a deposit and there are no minimum stays. We want you to enjoy Serenity, even if for just one night, without breaking the bank. Please inquire about special pricing if you would like to hold your special event at Serenity. The guests will have access to the entire house, inside and out. The meadow, and the seasonal creek. This is NOT a shared space and you will have the house to yourself. Firewood is available for purchase on the property on the rack just outside the front door and in the bins against the garage. The wood in the bins against the garage is for the outside fire pit and the wood on the rack is for the wood burning stove. There is a box in the kitchen to pay for the firewood. Please contribute an an appropriate amount of money for the amount of wood used. My daughter and I cut, split, haul, and stack all of the wood ourselves. We also provide propane for the gas fired BBQ. Please remember to turn off the gas when you are finished using the grill. We will be available for communication up to, during, and after your stay via the AirBnB app and phone. We will not be present during your stay. You will have complete privacy. Periodically, I am up at the property working and am able to greet you as you arrive, but this is a rarity.

I I have really racked my brain trying to think of everything. Im sure you will love it. We also have hiking poles, and ice chests you can barrow. Guest access: We have set up our home so that our guests have their own entrance, with keypad lock. If you want your privacy, you have it. The back porch is a kitchenette.You have access to the whole 10 acres. Which includes, walking trail, pool ( summer only) back yard, Front yard. You are welcome to use BBQ, smoker, infrared sauna...Please make arrangements with your host. Interaction with guests: The way we have set up the space, you will have complete privacy. But if you would like to meet your hosts, or have questions. You can do that too. We love meeting our guests. The common areas we will both be using is the back porch, the sitting room , dining room table, kitchen and property. Other things to note: We also have a portable baby crib and high chair if you have little ones. Ice chest and hiking poles available for use. The door code you will receive after you book. We have a dog. When you drive up she will bark. Because it's her job to let us know when people are here . But she is very sweet and not aggressive at all. She comes in the house..,but only to her kennel. She is not allowed to move about the home. We have cats, outside only. The only phone service that works here is Verizon. But we have a landline if you have another service. But we do have great wifi. Cat Haven is closed on Tues and Wed I have breakfast items available such as hot and cold cereal, bars coffee and tea. There are a few dates this summer that we will be out of town. Newly completed construction of a fully equipped upper level home- one bedroom with king size bed, 2 sleeper sofa's in the living room for additional sleeping space. We are located just off of Hwy 180 and within walking distance from the corner coffee shop and gas station/store. 20 min easy drive to Kings Canyon National Park with Hume Lake a few mins further in the park as well as the giant trees. 25 mins from Reedley and Sanger for larger store shopping. We are a pet friendly location but we do have an additional cleaning fee due to the extra cleaning & hair removal that must be done as we pride ourselves in being clean & sanitized. A fee of $20 for 1-2 nights and $40 for 3-6 nights (this is not a deposit but an additional pre cleaning fee- if there is extensive cleaning or any damage there will be additional fees after the fact). You MUST inform us at the time of your booking request that you plan to bring your small/medium fur baby with you (dog, cat, weasle, ferret, turtle, ect except Skunks-no skunks are needed as there is plenty in the area ??). At that time we will discuss expectations to ensure an enjoyable stay for you, them and us. If agreed upon we will happily accept your request. We just need to be clear on a few things as this is a newly built studio with all new furniture and there are hazards to be aware of as well as livestock on the property. The kitchen is fully stocked with all necessary pots, pans, dishes, glasses, utensils, ect if you prefer cooking in or enjoy the local restaurant or pizza parlor. If you are here for fishing, you can fish Pine Flat Lake or the Kings River- both are about 25 mins away. You can fish higher altitude like Hume Lake or the streams that fed into Hume Lake at about a 35 min drive away. If you care to just generally check the area out you might start out at Project Cat Haven then head up into the park to see the giant Sequoias. If so you will come to fork in a road, turn right and you will go to Sequoia National Park, turn left and you will go up and around Hume Lake coming into Cedar Grove and Boyden's Cave. If your trip is a little different you can go wine tasting, get a hold of us and we can direct you to a few different wineries within a 20 minute drive. If you want a little more adventure in your trip we can get you in touch with the people for white water rafting on the upper Kings River or let you know where the locals raft at which is a nice leisure float for half the day. Numerous hiking and biking trails near by. On the road going into the house off of Hwy 180 we recommend driving at 15 miles an hour. Please be courteous as there are very few residences on this road and the road itself is not super wide. As far as getting around the rest of the area, all this information is available at the house. We are available and will respond within at least an hour. One of us is always around if any need arises. We are here to make your stay a nice one to remember but also not to intrude. We are a pet friendly location but we do have an additional cleaning fee due to the extra cleaning & hair removal that must be done as we pride ourselves in being clean & sanitized. A fee of $20 for 1-2 nights and $40 for 3-6 nights (this is not a deposit but an additional pre cleaning fee- if there is extensive cleaning or any damage there will be additional fees after the fact). You MUST inform us at the time of your booking request that you plan to bring your small/medium fur baby with you (dog, cat, weasle, ferret, turtle, ect except Skunks-no skunks are needed as there is plenty in the area ??). At that time we will discuss expectations to ensure an enjoyable stay for you, them and us. If agreed upon we will happily accept your request. We just need to be clear on a few things as this is a newly built studio with all new furniture and there are hazards to be aware of as well as livestock on the property. Unfortunately if your intentions are not made clear before arrival and you just show up you may be asked to leave without a refund. We have added this after the fact due to issues that have already occurred so to continue to stay pet friendly, as we love our fur babies as well, we needed to make this clear.

They offer a guided hike. * 40 min to Fresno *Local pizza is amazing, 5 min from the house. *Our community also offers a few gas stations, auto parts store, church, hardware store, taco truck, and on occasion a sandwich truck.

Two rooms have an exit through French doors out to the huge side yard and there is a large covered patio off of the living room overlooking our expanse of lush green grass and the lake. The large propane BBQ on the patio lets our guests cook for a small or large group and the outside dining table lets you enjoy the beautiful surrounding while dining. There is a playhouse and swing-set for kiddos and adults can be one with nature in the private outdoor shower. Enjoy as much activity as you like, or take it easy and relax. This peaceful retreat is just waiting for you to energize your mind, body and soul. We do accept up to 2 Pets at our property but there is an additional cleaning fee of $50 per stay. Please make sure to stock up on supplies before heading up the hill from Fresno - very limited groceries in the mountains.
